I am a philosopher specializing in social epistemology, ethics, and the intersection between them. My work addresses various topics including epistemic injustice, algorithmic fairness, expert deference, disagreement, and the moral significance of different epistemic vices.
I'm currently a PhD student at the University of Missouri. Previously, I earned my MA in Philosophy from Virginia Tech. In-between Virginia Tech and attending the University of Missouri, I taught language arts at McKinley Technology in Washington, DC.
In addition to my independent research and teaching, I am a research fellow and member of CASCade, an interdisciplinary research group focused on understanding how complexity science can inform our understanding of social problems. At Virginia Tech, I also held a research fellowship, focused on developing curriculum and pedagogy for a course on social identity.
I am also the director of the Mizzou Ethics Bowl Team and am a faculty member at Missouri Scholars Academy.
